“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” – 1 Peter 2:9
I want to ask you one important question: Do you know who you are?
According to Scriptures, we are a chosen people and royal priesthood.
Did you know you were ROYALTY?
This is the year for those know who they are in Christ. There is so much power in knowing who you are. God wants us to come before Him boldly and confidently.
You are the child of the God who made the Universe. How amazing is that?
Sometimes we forget who we are in God, which causes us to doubt whether we truly can or deserve to take territories. Sometimes, because of external circumstances we wonder if we will ever advance beyond where we are now.
But, I’m here to remind you that despite what it looks like, God is in control. And more importantly, you’re His child. He’ll NEVER let you fail. The God who never changes, never expires , the one who made heaven and earth , the one who suspends the world in space…has you covered.
Knowing that, how could you NOT walk confidently toward your dreams?
This week’s prayer
Lord, reveal yourself to me so I can know who I am in you. During trying times, help me to remember who you are so I can continue to walk in the direction of my new territory. Amen.
Take action this week!
Meditate on 1 Peter 2:9. Write it in your journal. Post it as a note on your mirror, so when you wake up every morning you’re reminded of who you are. Then, ask God to give you the strength as His child to take on any challenge that comes your way.
