Hey friends,
We are so excited this new year for what God will be doing in our lives. We are aware that we have had trying times with terror, attacks, social injustices, war and so on. The list goes on and on of darkness in this world.
We have good news for you and this is it – TRUST! That’s all you need to get through this new season. We have to trust in God’s capable love and plan for our lives for victory this year. Do we know the future? The answer is No but we know what the scriptures says about our future which is “ all things work together for the good for those who love the Lord”. Your victory this year is in trusting God will make good on his promises no matter the circumstances , no matter what the media, economic experts , politicians tell you. Your future is determined in Christ not in facts or statistics.
Let’s just touch on facts. Facts are not truths simply because they change. Truths will remain no matter the situation or circumstances. Facts might help us make forecasts or predictions even good decisions but truths provide certainty and hope in the future that will never be shaken.
Many scriptures encourages us to Trust God no matter what. Trust has been redefined over and over again. I think this definition explains it better – Trust is believe in the reliability, truth, or ability of. Trust is reliability (totally relying on something or someone), believing in the ability of someone in this context God. The scripture says “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean(rely) not on your own understanding” -Prov3v5. The scripture also reminds us that “without faith no man can please God”.
God’s request for us to trust in Him is an opportunity for God to bless us. Our relationship with God requires trust for it to function and for us to reap the rewards of that relationship. Going into the new year we would like you to remember God’s requests is motivated by His love for us always. We believe that 2017 will be a year of greatness for you by trusting God to give us new ideas, visions , dreams and more.
Start trusting God today in every area of your life and leave nothing out. God’s love for you outweighs any situation or knowledge you might have. God’s love can overcome your financial difficulties, addictions, family issues, health issues and all you have to do is rely, lean and trust in Him to always come through for you.
