Taking Territories - Work Smart

“Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort makes all the difference!”

Taking territories requires vision. The key to making your vision come to fruition is by taking a page out of a successful person’s book.

One of the secrets of successful people is they work smart…not hard.

What does that mean exactly? It means that they find strategic ways to achieve their goals and spend just as much time (if not more) planning the most effective way to get the work done. This is important because the time they spent planning pays off tremendously because they took time beforehand to understand where their efforts are best spent.

To take more territories this year, take some time to evaluate how you’re working. Don’t waste time on things that are not improving you. Prioritize your work. Map out your day. Don’t engage in “busy work” just to feel accomplished or important. Do the work that matters each and every day.

This week’s prayer

Lord I thank you for loving me. Holy Spirit, I ask you for grace and wisdom to direct me toward working smarter and directing my efforts wisely this year. I receive it and believe it in Jesus’ name. Thank you, Father. Amen.

Take action this week!

Before you write your to-do list, take at least 10 minutes to reflect and prioritize your work. Ask yourself: “Am I expending my effort wisely?”
