Obedience. The Conclusion

As we wrap up the series on “obedience”, we would like to highlight some parts of scripture on obedience.

 Noah obeyed God when he was asked to build an ark before a flood. Abraham also obeyed God when he was told to move to a new land despite not having all the details.. A lot of us have had to adjust due to the pandemic. Nevertheless, it has also been a great time to show our dedication and passion towards God’s kingdom. Hebrews 13:17 says, “Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.” Ways in which we can be in alignment with God’s word through obedience;

Praying and meditating on God’s word daily shows our obedience to his command to put Him first and to love others. The bible says “Cast all your cares upon him for He cares for you.” It also says, “Love the Lord your God with all your soul, with all your might and with all your strength. Love your neighbor as yourself. This is the first commandment with a promise.” “Do not be anxious about anything but by prayer and supplication, make your request known to God…and the peace that passes all understanding will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).

Sharing the gospel with the world. Jesus told his disciples to “Go forth and make disciples of all nations of the earth.” Thankfully, in this new age, we can share the gospel with anyone whenever and wherever we are.

Heavenly Father, we pray that you would give us the ability to obey your word and give us the ability to persevere through it all, In Jesus’ name.

Please do not hesitate to share your testimonies, and prayer requests with us. We’d love to hear about what God is doing in your lives.
