Welcome to the second half of the month of March! Continuing our series, “Becoming Extraordinary Through Prayer”, we’d like to go through a few more scriptures in the bible regarding prayer.
Prayer puts you in alignment with eternity. The life you should live here was designed in eternity’s past. How you live your life here on earth will reflect your behavior after you leave this earth. Our time here on earth is limited.The purpose of our life is revealed in His word. Joshua 1:8 says “this book of the law shall not depart out of my mouth for I shall meditate in it day and night that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it…for then I shall make my way prosperous and then you shall have good success.” Your life was planned from the foundation of the earth. We often say how does God watch a football match? He’s not fearful of the end result. This is because He is all knowing. Therefore, He is calm about the result from the start.
Worshiping God with other believers and being in God’s presence puts you in total alignment with God and others. There is an indescribable moment you get when you are in God’s presence. It doesn’t matter how many people show up at first, God’s word says in Matthew 18:20…”where two or more are gathered in my name, there I am.” God loves us all, equally, and there is nothing we can ever do to change that. Matthew 6:33 says “seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these other things will be added unto you.” Jesus also said pray so that you will not give into temptation. Matthew 6:13 says, “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.”
We pray that within this month, something will shift in the realm of the spirit for your good.
