The bible says in Proverbs 15:4,
“Gentle words bring life and health; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.” Proverbs 16:24 “Kind words are like honey–sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.” Proverbs 18:4 “A person’s words can be life-giving water; words of true wisdom are as refreshing as a bubbling brook.” Confidence and high self esteem are wonderful traits to have but at the same time we ought to be careful while relating to others. Personally, meditating on God’s word and singing praises to Him may be the best way to overcome any emotion. I know sometimes it may be hard to hold back our emotions but the best part is we can always extend the gift of forgiveness.
Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice on the cross of cavalry over 2000 years ago so that we can have a new life in Him. The bible says in Romans 12:2, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Another version says, “ Don’t be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him”. Psalm 92:1-2, says, it is good to give thanks to the Lord, And to sing praises to his name. O most high; to declare your loving kindness in the morning, and your faithfulness every night. Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ (Romans 8:31-39). We pray that His love will permeate every part of this nation and the world at large.
